Trees are present in close proximity to the building. Such vegetation has the potential to cause structural movement, especially where foundations are shallow or soils are shrinkable. No signs of related damage were evident; however, existing trees and shrubs should be regularly pruned to reduce moisture demand, and new planting should be kept a safe distance from the structure
