Efflorescence (white, powdery salt deposits) is present on the walls. Although this can appear unsightly, it is a common and non-serious condition. It generally diminishes over time, though its occurrence may vary seasonally. The best method of removal is to dry-brush the affected areas with a stiff brush during the summer months
